Freeform Leaves and Three Dimensional Birch

Free form leaves are made by pressing real leaves into the clay and then cutting them out. Please visit the installation page to view one installation using free form leaves. The three dimension birch tree can also be seen on the installation page under the Designer Show House Installation.

Shell Motif Concept Board

Shell motif tiles are made from molds of real shells found on the shores of Maine. They are interesting and are quite often installed with other themes from the sea series creating a unique and very much Maine Home installation. Tiles are glazed in rootbeer crackle and turkish amber.

Bass Harbor Light Concept Board

The Bass harbor Light concept board is an example of an on going seascape. It can be combined with many different tiles; the dory boat, the seal or heron tiles are just a few. Several different Maine light house tiles are also available; Bass Harbor, Curtis, Burnt Island and Nubble.

Pear Concept Board

The dancing pear panel is 6x12 with lively, although soft warm colors. The 2x6 field tile is done in a satin glaze called straw. It's a very pleasant combination and would make a lovely backsplash in any country kitchen.

The Sloop Concept board

The sloop tile is 12x8 and can be done successfully in a range of glazes. The 4" field tiles are pressed tiles while the 2x2 field tiles are cut. Usually, the installation would be done in one or the other. This concept board illustrates the diffence in appearance. Several other ships are offered; the schooner and cat sail are shown on the gift tile page.

Poppy Mural

The poppy mural is a favorite of mine. Each panels is 12x8 and can be installed vertically making a tall mural of poppies for a shower install or horizontially as shown for a splashy kitchen install. The ladybugs and bees add a nice whimiscal touch.

Sea Series Concept Board

Part of the sea series. The sea panel is 6x12 with the shell motif 3x6 border. Great for a shower install or tub surround. Any panels in the sea series can be used in place of the seal panel and of course, the glaze application can change as well.
