Kim was awarded a wonderful relief tile mural by the Friends of Maine Seabird Islands. Her portion of the mural (3-4' high by 9'-0)is a biologically accurate depiction of Maine's subtidal zones which will merge into a painting by national wildlife artist, Mark McCullough capturing the seabird island's habitat.

The mural will be part of a permanent exhibit installed in the Maine Coastal islands National Wildlife Refuge visitor's center located in Rockland Maine. The installation and dedication will take place in the summer of 2014.
