Children's Handpressing

Many families participate in the children's hand pressing events held at The Seven Arts Gallery, Ellsworth, Maine.  The process is as follows: either the foot or the hand is pressed into a wet six inch clay tile. These tiles are then dried and fired at over 2100 degrees. Their durability makes them suitable for almost any application, backsplash installation or table top trivet.
